Go Climb a Rock

In an attempt to keep our family close as our kids get older, this year we have tried to establish a Family Fun Saturday once a month. We failed in January (due to Young Women Volleyball), but in February we took our snow trip. This month, last Saturday, we went rock climbing at Solid Rock Gym and had a great time! Erin and Brian had been before, but this was the first time for the rest of us.

Kelly struggled a little at first but soon caught the hang of it. (This photo is the result of Kelly watching too many modeling shows!)

An hour and 45 minutes later we were a little sore (okay--maybe just Mom and Dad were sore!) and hungry. We finished off the day with some Phil's BBQ.
