No, not that kind of dirty! We spent our 4th of July week camping in Beaver, Utah. Now anyone that knows me knows that I am not much of a camper, but I decided that I could sacrifice civilization for a few days in order to see some cousins from my mom's family whom I haven't seen in quite a while. Despite the incredible heat, nearby wildfires, and a lot of dirt, I survived, and it was worth it.
We drove all day on the 4th of July and watched fireworks near Cedar City. Then, thanks to my pyromaniac husband, we set off some of our own behind the hotel.

I'm glad you guys had fun. I'm excited about your book blog. I don't think I have ever seen you without a book.:)
Kim this looks like lots of fun. I can't believe how grown up your kids are!!!! Kelly was still in a booster seat when I met you guys!!! Wow!!
I'm glad somebody was taking pictures of my kids! I came home with only 5 pictures taken....how lame is that? No pictures on quads, no pictures at the lake. So much for memories!
That's a pretty cool picture. Brian looks like a ghost!
The fireworks picture IS pretty cool. I have a new camera and used the night setting. The pictures all turned out a little "ghostly," but this one is the best!
