We spent the morning touring the Hoover Dam. We took a tour of the engine rooms and a tour of the tunnels in the dam. Then we took an elevator to the top of the dam and looked out over the Colorado River both directions. The bridge is a new road due to open next month.
The girls are rubbing the toes of the angel statues for good luck.
In the afternoon we drove through Arizona to our hotel near the south rim of the Grand Canyon. We had some heavy rain, and at one point we saw this incredible double rainbow.
