We took the train and then a bus and then the ferry and then another bus to get to Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island. It was a long trip but worth it to see the beautiful gardens. This is the original sunken garden.
Later we took a bus into Victoria to see David's cousin Linda. While we waited for her, we took some time to tour the provincial legislature building. It was quite beautiful, full of stunning stained glass.
